January 25, 2007 Lynn Haven men arrested for drug trafficking. State Attorney Steve Meadows announces the arrest of two Lynn Haven men on drug trafficking charges. Hoang Van Ngo, 26, and Loi Minh Savageau, 20, were arrested in Lynn Haven and charged with Trafficking in MDMA(ecstasy) and Trafficking in Hydrocodone. Each offense is a first degree felony, punishable by up to 30 years in prison. Conviction, as charged, would require a minimum three years in prison and a $50,000.00 fine. A month long investigation by officers of the State Attorney’s Office and the Lynn Haven Police Department led to the delivery of 65 hits of ecstasy to an undercover. When the pair was arrested, officers located more than four grams of hydrocodone in the vehicle. Officers also seized a 2000 BMW automobile and $1,600.00 in cash. “This is another example of what we can do when agencies work together,” said Meadows. “We have been very successful in our efforts with the Lynn Haven Police Department. This operation has taken drug dealers, and a large amount of their product, off the streets.” |
