PANAMA CITY MAN CONVICTED OF CHILD MOLESTATION
State Attorney Steve Meadows announces the conviction, in Bay County Circuit
Court, of Johnny L. Kennedy, on a charge of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation.
The three men, three women jury deliberated 25 minutes before finding
Kennedy, 21, guilty of the June, 2006, incident. Assistant State Attorney
Rob Sale presented evidence that Kennedy fondled a 14-year old girl against
her will. Kennedy admitted to touching the girl’s breasts.
Sentencing is set for August 14, 2007. Kennedy faces up to 15 years in
prison.
