State Attorney Steve Meadows announces the conviction, in Washington County
Court, of Joseph Worthy and Tammy Kirby.
It took a four males, two females jury just 28 minutes to find Worthy, 28,
of Alicia Lane in Chipley, guilty of two counts of battery, trespass,
disorderly intoxication, and resisting an officer without violence in
connection to a September 2, 2006, incident.
County Judge Colby Peel sentenced Worthy to 364 days jail.
A three males, three females jury convicted Kirby, 46, of Melody Lane in
Chipley, of a second offense DUI which occurred on September 16, 2006.
Judge Peel sentenced Kirby to the maximum nine months in jail.
