BAY COUNTY MAN CONVICTED OF CHILD MOLESTATION CHARGES

State Attorney Steve Meadows announces the conviction, in Bay County Circuit Court, of LaTerrance Johnson, on two counts of Lewd or Lascivious Battery on a Child.

The jury deliberated 40 minutes before finding Johnson32, guilty, as charged, of sexual activity with a then 15-years old girl during October and November, 2005.

Johnson was taken into custody and will remain in jail until sentenced on July 17, 2007. He faces up to 15 years in prison for each count.

Johnson also is set to go to trial on Friday, June 15, on charges of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation and Impregnation of a Child, involving another, under-aged girl.
