State Attorney Steve Meadows announces the conviction, in Bay County Circuit
Court, of Robert Dawson on a charge of Delivery of Cocaine.
A three males, three females jury deliberated only about 28 minutes before
finding Dawson, 46,of Panama City, guilty as charged. Assistant State
Attorney Brian Kelley presented evidence that, on January 19, 2007, Dawson
sold crack cocaine to undercover officers of the Panama City Police
Department.
Sentencing is set for June 27 at 1:30 p.m. Dawson faces up to 15 years in
prison.
