Man convicted in video voyeurism trial
State Attorney Steve Meadows announces the conviction, in Bay County Court,
of William Judson McDevett, on a charge of video voyeurism.
The case was tried before Bay County Judge Shane R. Vann who immediately
sentenced McDevett, 64, of Kelly Court, in Callaway, to the maximum
probationary term of 12 months. McDevett was adjudicated guilty, ordered to
pay $1,192.00 in fine and costs, ordered to complete 75 hours of public
service work, and ordered to undergo counseling, if needed.
This case involved the installation of video equipment in an apartment on
Cheri Lane, in Parker, between December 1st and December 26th, 2005.
